03:53 <Cepheid> I went outside to see if I could coax it to me.  It ran off to hide under a nearby tree until another cat came along and started staring it down.  Poor thing backed away terrified and unsure what to do.  My mother tried to go pick it up, and it ran off towards the front of the house.  Moment it got onto the driveway, it flopped over on it's side, started meowing and chirping at my mother, and let her pet it's stomach.
