00:28 <Cepheid> And all of these dungeons and raids are part of random pools you can in a group finder, and you get rewards for joining these pools once per day and so on and so on.

00:29 <Cepheid> The issue in this case arises in that there are two story-oriented dungeons in the base game.
00:29 <Cepheid> Which are part of one of those pools.
00:29 <Ali> You'll always get some AFK'r or some numbnuts who doesn't know their role.
00:30 <Cepheid> Basically what started happening is veteran players would join this pool, while new players would look for a party to do one of the story dungeons.
00:30 <Cepheid> When the new players joined in, they'd watch the cutscenes. Fine and dandy.
00:30 <Cepheid> Except it didn't pause the game for the other players.
00:30 <Ali> So they'd be running off to the next boss while the other is still at the cutscene?
00:30 <Cepheid> So you'd be watching a cutscene, then all of a sudden, the dungeon was over, because the veterans ran ahead and murdered everything.
00:31 <Ali> Or you got kicked from the group
00:31 <Cepheid> The resolution to that particular case for those two dungeons was to make the cutscenes unskippable.
00:31 <Cepheid> Which predictably had it's own problems.
00:31 <Ali> But who would want that after their 15th run thru it
00:31 <Cepheid> Namely, people stopped doing it.
00:31 <Cepheid> Can't please everyone, it seems.

00:32 <Cepheid> That said, outside of those two dungeons, for the most part, the LFG/LFR system was pretty robust and decent.

Maybe not as significantly as Italy, but it will still drop. I wonder how much of an impact that will have on my physical health. Lung and sinus issues can be aggravated by pollution.
21:38 <Cepheid> This is partly why my parents want me to tag along to the east coast the next time they go out there. They tend to reside at cabins/cottages next to the sea, somewhat far-ish from cities. They think the reduced pollution, and the sea air might help.
