03:18 <Cepheid> If you want further techniques, one approach I find works, is that if you find yourself getting worked up, stop what you are doing, and do breathing exercises.  Take a slow deep breath in.  Over 5 seconds.  Hold for a few seconds.  Exhale slowly.  Inhaling and exhaling should be the same speed.

03:19 <Schism> That does help, too.  Though I suggest breathing in for four seconds, holding it in for six, and then letting it out for four.

03:19 <Cepheid> The goal is to ensure your body gets oxygen.  When you get stressed, you tend to hyperventilate or do something that affects your oxygen levels.

03:20 <Schism> Deep breathing of any sort, really, helps, but counting how long you take breaths and hold them also provides a sort of certainty.
